Terms of Service for Requirement Copilot

By accessing or using our app through the Atlassian Marketplace, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before using our service.

1. General Conditions

Requirement Copilot provides AI-powered analysis and rewriting of project requirements within Jira Cloud. By using Requirement Copilot, you acknowledge and agree to the processing of your data (specifically project requirements) by our app and OpenAI, which we use as a third-party service provider.

2. License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms of Service, Requirement Copilot grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our app solely for your internal business operations. This license does not include any resale or commercial use of any Requirement Copilot service or its contents.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Use Requirement Copilot for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

  • Attempt to reverse engineer or jeopardize the correct functioning of the app, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the software that enables or underlies the app.

  • Use Requirement Copilot to create any software or documents that directly or indirectly compete with the functionality of our app.

4. Modifications to The Service and Prices

  • Requirement Copilot reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the service (or any part thereof) with or without notice.

  • Prices of our services are subject to change upon 30 days’ notice from us. Such notice may be provided at any time by posting the changes to the Requirement Copilot site on the Atlassian Marketplace or the service itself.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Requirement Copilot and all included content are provided on an "as is" basis without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. We specifically disclaim any and all warranties and conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and any warranties arising out of course of dealing or usage of trade.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Requirement Copilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the service; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

7. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Requirement Copilot and its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with: (i) your use of the app; (ii) your breach or violation of any of these Terms; (iii) Requirement Copilot's use of your information.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction of Finland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes to Terms of Service

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
